2025 Membership Applications

This is the form for Contractors who have passed a board resolution that this application be made, and that the Company bind itself, upon admission to such membership, to observe the Constitution and Code of Conduct of the Association.

In order to complete this application, you will need to have knowledge of your company's turnover for the past financial year, as well as digital copies of the following documents for upload:

• Company Profile
• CCIPC COR14.3 Document
• VAT Certificate

You will also need to provide the contact details of a representative (at least one and no more than five) from the company.

We recommend that you compile the required information and documents first, as there will not be an option to save your progress once you have started the application.

This application may only be completed by a duly authorised signatory.

DECLARATION OF TURNOVER FOR LAST FINANCIAL YEAR

Turnover Declaration

Sales turnover in South Africa as at your company’s last financial year. Sales turnover should include all South African subsidiary companies or firms controlled by the member and engaged in the industry. Turnover must also include any more recent business acquisitions which will benefit from your membership during the year of membership.

Subscription Fees

Annual subscriptions are based on the turnover of the company and any subsidiaries. The first subscription will fall due on admission to membership. Subsequent subscriptions will fall due on the 1st January in each year, or as soon as possible after notification.

Resignations

Resignations from membership must have been received by the SAPMA Administration any year on or before 30 September in the year of resignation. Such resignations shall date from 31 December in that year.

Our payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of invoice of that year. This is inclusive of renewed and new memberships.

I agree to the 30-day payment policy.

Current legislation pertaining to Government restrictions in the use of lead in paint are being continuously amended, including lead free Decorative paint.

Net sales of products defined in “The Industry”¹ including: a) Sales affected in South Africa of products manufactured in South Africa; b) Sales affected outside South Africa of products manufactured in South Africa.

Sales to paint or ink manufacturers in South Africa who are members of SAPMA and within the same Group Companies as the Vendor, may be excluded. Sales turnover must also include all South African subsidiary companies or firms controlled by the member and engaged in the industry. Turnover must also include any more recent business acquisitions which will benefit from your membership during the year of membership.

¹ Industry sales include all activities connected with the manufacture of coatings; paints; powder coatings; printing inks; artists colours; varnishes; lacquers; stains; wood preservatives; thinners; strippers and allied products and other like protection or decorative products.
